Short Bio - Word from the Photographer (or friend)
Hello! I'm Katelyn James and I'm a wedding photographer based out of Richmond Virginia! I absolutely LOVE what I do! However, photography is only one part of my life! I love spending time with my new husband, camping with my family and hanging our with the teenagers at our Church! My husband is a youth pastor and I love getting to help with that. We were married on 10.10.10 and are highschool sweethearts! Right now, life is busy with an intense wedding season but I'm looking forward to the fall when I get to sit back and relax a little! Shooting weddings is my main passion. I love everything about them (except family portraits... it's just hard to be creative with those!:) My style is crisp, clean and bright. I want my couples to look back at their images 10 years from now and still adore them! Wedding images should be timeless!!

Short Bio
“My many loves in life include: good food, traveling, Paris, my family, cooking, running, reading, and finding the beauty that is around me. When I started my business 2 years ago I didn’t realize that I would meet so many amazing people with incredible stories and backgrounds. Photography has brought me so much joy and my goal is to bring joy to my clients when they see the finished results of a session.”

- Name: Elisa Bricker / Elisa B. Photography
- Located in: Charlottesville, Virginia
- Started in: 2008
- Status: Full Time Professional
- Types of Photography: Wedding and Portrait
- Primary Camera / Favorite Lens: I love my Nikon D700s. I shoot with them all the time and they have some wonderful features. My favorite lens is the 24mm 1.4. It's a beautiful lens, gets big groups well in small spaces, let's me float around on a crowded dance floor and has a great effect with detail shots as well.
- Interesting Personal Fact: I grew up in a large family, taking portraits of my siblings and learned on film cameras from my father, who studied photography in college. I'm the oldest of ten children, so I had lots of faces to practice on!

I am an artist, a wife, and a consummate romantic. I have a minimally processed photographic style with modern touches. My mother always said that makeup should make us look like our best selves – not like we’re wearing makeup. I feel the same way about the post production of my work. I’m reflecting the beauty of who people are – their best selves – and not making them look like something they’re not. Good post production is subtle.
I began my love of photography with a strong desire to create beauty in high school. I found other loves that I studied in college, but found myself right back where I belonged after graduating. I’m blessed to have a family that I love to spend time with and a growing business that desires my time as well. My biggest challenge is finding the work/life balance – something that I suspect will be a constant. J
I shoot all of my weddings with my husband, Edward, who is my partner in the business. I’m blessed to be able to work with him, and our clients benefit from his great eye and grounded personality. We love working together.
I'm a member of the Professional Photographers of America and Wedding Professional Photographers International.

Short Bio
I began my work as a photographer in high school after I bought a camera and lens off of my brother. I fell in love with photography, and majored in art with a concentration in photography at the University of Virginia.
2005 found me in Nicaragua documenting Orphans for Nicaraguan Orphan Fund via Orphan Network. I was terrible, and learned quickly how to adapt to light changes, environment, and how to capture the reality of each moment and person.
In 2006, I began working for Holland Photo Arts (ahhhmazing photographers from Charlottesville, VA) - and they trained me on the craft of documenting weddings. In 2008, I began my own business, Eric Kelley Photography. Since 2006, I have had the privilege of documenting over 100 weddings in Virginia and on-location: California, New York, Brazil, Texas, Dominican Republic, Oregon and Washington.
Photography is my passion. Daily life finds me documenting people, events, homes, news for editorial work, capturing the intricacies of nature, snapping shots of my wife and son, and basically relishing the beauty of the world. I also love the post-production aspect of my job that allows me to create concepts for photography sessions or weddings for the client's taste. This is art, and I love it.
My wife, Lora Kelly, works with me to do hair and make up for the brides during the bridal shoots.
