I grew up around photography. I can remember growing up and thinking my Mom’s Canon AE1 was the coolest
thing ever and took every opportunity to be a big girl and use it. As I got older I became “that girl,” the one behind
the lens capturing every Birthday party, Christmas, Bridal Shower and every social event in between.

I remember the days of film, taking my prints to the lab and anxiously waiting for them to come back. Every time
it was like opening a present, sometimes you’d get photos that were like the socks you get from your Aunt, but
every once in a while you’d get the awesome radio control car or video game you’d been obsessing over all year.
Those photos are what always kept me excited about photography-the ability to capture that awesome moment
and preserve it in time forever. When digital first arrived I was a skeptic but now I’m in love- there’s nothing like
the satisfaction of finishing a shoot and literally running through your front door & loading that card to see how
the photos turned out.

When I had my son last July, I took photos constantly; it was amazing to see the changes in him every day.
As I began posting photos of him, friends started to ask me if I’d take photos of their family, baby or child. I
finally decided this lifelong passion was more than just a hobby. I never would have known how many steps it
takes to start a business; branding, taxes, licenses etc. I got it all squared away and officially launched Missy B
Photography in February of 2011 & I’ve been snapping ever since!

I love working with families and especially love being able to hold little tiny newborns and capture those first few
days when they are so fresh & new. With every shoot my goal is to create beautiful photographs that capture true
emotion and personality that I hope will be treasured for years to come!

I am Rebecca. I am a mother of 3 wonderful kids. I was lucky enough to be given my first camera by my parents for my 11th birthday. I still remember my excitement at finishing my first roll of film. Although many of my images were probably blurry, I was ecstatic and intrigued about the ability to capture a moment in time in a photograph. When my first child was born, I became interested in digital scrapbooking and created an album documenting her first year of life. This activity led me back to my love of photography. Quite simply, I wanted to be able to take beautiful pictures of my beautiful children. As my photography skills improved, I started taking photographs of the children of my friends and family. Soon I started receiving more requests for my photography and so my business was born.

My style of photography is true to my original objective – I want to give other mothers beautiful photographs of their children. Ultimately, I hope that my photographs will be loved and treasured by my clients long after their children have grown up.

My name is Stephanie Sunderland but feel free to call me Steph. I have been photographing for almost 2 years now and I have never been so happy. It is truly a blessing to be able to do this and call it my job.
I fell in love with photography during my first semester as a freshman in college. Having no idea what I wanted to major in I decided to take a photo class just for fun. Little did I know that course would change my life. After discovering the passion and love I possessed for photography I knew I couldn’t do anything else. I have been photographing ever since…

Short Bio

I’m Lisa...a 34 year old stay at home mom to 8 (soon to be 9!) children and a wife to my sweet husband, Jeff. I love traveling, camping, hiking, archaeology, studying ancient civilizations and their cultures, cooking (especially things exotic and unusual), and spending time with my family. Oh, AND photography...how could I forget that! I LOVE photography!

I graduated from high school in 1994 and enlisted in the United States Navy. I went through their Nuclear Power Program, which was a huge challenge, but also such a growing time in my life. After my time in the Navy, I became a mother, and have been a stay at home mom ever since. Our kids range in age from 13 on down to 1, with another expected this fall.

My start in photography is a pretty typical one. When Adrian (kiddo #5) came along in 2006, I suddenly had the urge to take better pictures of my own children. I’ve always been artistic, so this was a perfect creative outlet for me. It all started on a birth board I was part of. We had a little photography group and would post pics, give each other tips and critique, and work on different techniques. It all grew from there! What started out as a little hobby soon grew into a full fledged passion. It’s the perfectionist in me! I am not happy until things are *just right*...and obviously, photography is one of those things in which you never stop learning or growing, so here I am today, still plugging away. When I realized that all of those amazing lenses and other photography related equipment didn’t come cheap, my ‘hobby’ slowly morphed into a money making business. I do this very part time as my large family takes up most of my time. Thankfully, I have a very supportive husband and family. My 12 year old daughter has become a wonderful assistant, reflector holder, little kid smile inducer, and test model herself. I couldn’t do it without their support!

That’s me, in a nutshell! I look forward to many more years doing the things I love, enjoying life, and helping others capture amazing images and memories of their loved ones.

A Word From the Photographer:

You can read more about how I got into photography on a post I wrote here:

I keep very busy doing weddings and enjoy doing them a lot.
One of my big passions is in traveling and I'm lucky that weddings take me all over the country.
I take a lot of travel pictures but will need to wait until later down the road to find time to do much with them.

I feel very thankful that I am able to make a good living doing full time the thing I love to do.
I love that it means helping people and providing a valuable service.

I try to make my blog a great place to come and learn things about photography and see what I'm up to in my own photography.

I have been shooting now for 4 years. I started when my daughter was almost 3 months old. I have no idea why I started a business when I had a newborn! Anyway, I've gone from working in my garage to a tiny studio in our old town house to building a home just for the studio and now in a retail studio place.

I absolutely love what I do for a living. I don't feel like it's a job. Well, maybe except during crazy season.

I also teach off camera flash to people all over the world. I've been to Australia, Salt Lake City 3 times and going for a 4th, Michigan twice, Las Vegas, Florida, New Orleans and going to be going to Sacramento in October.

I enjoy teaching photographers and meeting so many amazing people! I met Scott Jarvie thru my adventures in traveling and teaching!

Corey started in photography when he took a photography class and was a photog for his senior yearbook in high school. The camera he used then and still uses on occasion now is a Pentax K1000. In fact one of the speedlites he uses in his portable "strobist" outfit is the very strobe used with the Pentax all those years ago.

He joined the U.S.A.F shortly after marrying his wife and traveled between 35 states and lived in four of them. They even had the opportunity to live a just over a year in the United Kingdom. He photographed primarily his surroundings, his wife and family, and was limited only by time and money. After the kids grew to be teens, more money was available and the move from film photography to digital photography was made with the purchase of a Canon 40D.

He originally had vision of capturing primarily motorsports but has found making images of people to be much more satisfying. Now he focuses on families, models, actors/actress, and the events that happen during all of our lives.

I am an artist, a wife, and a consummate romantic. I have a minimally processed photographic style with modern touches. My mother always said that makeup should make us look like our best selves – not like we’re wearing makeup. I feel the same way about the post production of my work. I’m reflecting the beauty of who people are – their best selves – and not making them look like something they’re not. Good post production is subtle.

I began my love of photography with a strong desire to create beauty in high school. I found other loves that I studied in college, but found myself right back where I belonged after graduating. I’m blessed to have a family that I love to spend time with and a growing business that desires my time as well. My biggest challenge is finding the work/life balance – something that I suspect will be a constant. J

I shoot all of my weddings with my husband, Edward, who is my partner in the business. I’m blessed to be able to work with him, and our clients benefit from his great eye and grounded personality. We love working together.

I'm a member of the Professional Photographers of America and Wedding Professional Photographers International.

I am many things to many people.  I am Dad to 4.  I am Pop to 8.  I am the “significant other” to 1.  I am “the ex” to 2.  And I am the master to one crazy German Shepherd.

I have lived in a very large city and on a farm outside a small rural town.  Yes, I’m a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll.  These days, I live in a little beach town on a small island in Northeast Florida, and I am very happy to be here.  It’s a place that I truly feel at home and may be the place where I was always meant to be.  For a beach bum like me, nothing beats living less than 5 minutes from the beach.

If I don’t have a camera with me, the universe seems somehow out of kilter. I’ve been doing this since I was quite young. And people…not only my mom…think I’m pretty darn good at it. I'm really good at candid shots of people. An art school professor once told me that I have a special way of capturing people. Who am I to argue with her? Actually, I think she was right.

While I've always loved photography, it's only fairly recently that I decided that I wanted to try to make it my full-time gig, and I am seriously studying everything I can to become better at it. I have fallen in love with lighting and stobist type shooting.

Concert & band photography is my passion. The combination of photography and live music is just so natural for me as they are both such a big part of my life. I went to my first concert when I was 12, over 40 years ago; it was The Grateful Dead at the Spectrum in Philly and they played for 5 hours. I’ll never forget it. I spent most of my teen years and beyond going to as many concerts as I could, sometimes 3 or 4 in a week. I’ve seen most every rock artist of the 70’s, a lot of them several times. These days, I get out to probably one live performance a week, sometimes quite a few more. I Shoot Musicians and I make people look like Rock Stars. I love to capture the moment when a performer shows their spirit and personality. It’s like magic. Capturing that energy and emotion is what it’s all about for me.  Someone told me that I do it so well because I feel the music so much more than most people.  Some of my photos have been published in Guitar World, Guitar Player, Guitar Edge, Musicians Friend,  The Buzz, Axis Magazine, and other national and local publications as well as many sites on the web.  While I take most of my photos in the Northeast Florida area, I have traveled throughout the Southeast to cover musical events.  Now, if I could just figure out a way to make real money at it!

I never thought I would be able to make money doing photography.  I took a few classes in High School and fell in love with it.
When I was younger I always thought I would be a nurse.  After working for 3 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant I decided that was definitely not the career for me.

I have lived in Utah my whole life, probably will stay here forever.  I got married in April 2009.  My children have fur, feathers and gills.  I love any type of animal.

I'm currently going to school at Weber State University.  I know I don't need a degree to be a photographer, but having a college education has always been important to me.

Taking pictures of babies and children is my passion.  Little toes, sad cries, sweet smiles, playing, fighting, I love it all.   There is something so precious about a picture of a sleeping baby in black and white.

I have always been a creative person.  I was always interested in art.  I used to do alot of scrapbooking, (alot) and had many friends who admired the pictures in my albums.  One of those friends hired me to do her family pictures, all I had then was my little kodak digital camera and my brain, and it pretty much snowballed from there.  This wasn't something I would have ever thought of doing as a career let alone having my own successful business.  So along the way, I have had to learn (alot of times it was by doing things the wrong way) how to get the effects I wanted.  Gradually got better equipment and try to learn things along the way.  I also make collages with all of my shoots to capture some of the feeling.  turning a few pictures into a work of art.  The best part of being a photographer is all the friends you make along the way.  When I gain a client, they always come back for more, and that trusting relationship goes along way.  Helps me to build the self confidence I need in making this successful business.

If someone would have told me 18 months ago that I would have my own photography business one day I would have laughed!! Here I am and I LOVE it.

I grew up in a Utah. I spent most of my time playing in high school and college playing in some sort of sporting event. I graduated from Utah State University with a BS degree in Business and Info Systems. I became a computer and web programmer. I met my husband during my last semester in college. Since we've been married we lived in France, Montana, Kansas City, Virginia, and now Utah. We have 2 very entertaining children, who are now my full-time job, and take up the majority of my day.

About 18 months ago I pulled out a DSLR camera that was given to my husband before we were married. I dusted it off and started reading the instruction manual for it. At first photography was a technical and creative outlet...something I very much needed as a stay at home mom. It has since evolved into a passion. My favorite part of photography is editing...I'm not kidding. No worries, I like to shoot as well :-) My goal for the next year is to shoot more weddings AND more pictures of my own kids.

I grew up in Layton, Utah and have lived here all of my life.  I love shooting weddings and getting to be involved in such an important part of peoples lives.  Over the years I have met some of the greatest families and couples.

I am a lover of life.  I am grateful to be alive.  I love all types of music and music is a huge part of my life.  I am a lover of mexican food and love spicy foods.

Many of my past clients have become very close friends.  As we work together, I hope we can become good friends too.  If you need anything, let me know, it is my pleasure to help.  If you have questions, ask, I love answering questions.

I met my wife Tiffany in high school.  It was October 3rd, 1998.  We were both going to homecoming dances at different schools with different dates.  She was at a mutual friends house getting ready for her date and another mutual friend was in town and wanted me to come visit.  When I arrived at the house, my friends told me there was a girl inside getting ready and I needed to go and tell her that she looked just like Celine Dion.  So I played along, I walked up the stairs to the bathroom where she was curling her hair.  As I turned the corner, there stood the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my life.  To this day she still takes my breath away.  I said "Wow, you look just like Celine Dion" and the rest is history.  We had our first date a week later in Park City.  I enjoy spending my life with her by my side and would be nothing without her.  I want to thank her for her support and her friendship.

A bit about me…My name is Samantha (Sam) and my middle name isn’t really Jane. Although I grandmother has called me Samantha Jane for as long as I can remember, I think it was out of spite to my father for not giving me a middle name.

I have an addiction to my iPhone. I love to ski. I tend to be a bit of a dork, although I try to act like I’m not. I am a bit accident prone, some call it endearing, others amusing, but it’s just me.

Photography for me is love, passion and obsession all wrapped up into one. I think of my clients as friends, and treat them as so. I love capturing the little moments, the ones that generally go un-noticed. My style can be described as lifestyle, with a bit of sass and glamour.

I wish I could think of something exciting and interesting to say, but the truth is, I'm just your average gal who's in l-o-v-e with photography!! I have been involved with photography and the arts for many years but it was the adoption of our first child that really kick-started my passion and gave me the motivation to finally turn nthis talent into a business. My favorite part of my job? I love to help others see the love and joy in their own families and children. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a Mom's face light up (or sometimes cry!) when she holds the images of her family in her hands for the first time. Its what keeps me fulfilled, striving to learn and
develop my craft and my business as a whole. Its also a constant reminder of how precious these little moments are to a family and how easily they can slip away, going completely un-noticed.

Heading into my second year of business, I am more excited than ever before! There are so many exciting things on the horizon that I cannot wait to share with the beautiful, amazing clients of Danielle Lynn Photography!!

Photography has been a beautiful journey for me. When I started booking weddings, it was because I needed something to support this expensive habit of buying cameras and lenses. But the more I did it, the more I enjoyed being there in the moment, seeing things in a way that no one else would. No wedding is the same, and each is an opportunity to push myself artistically. Also, I try to keep commercialization from creeping into my work. I believe that real art involves people and relationships, as well as a lot of time, heart, and hard work. It's a process of giving freely and receiving with open hands. It's always my hope that my images reflect those values.

  • Interesting Personal Fact: I went to Long Island New York to be a nanny when I was twenty years old and had a wonderful experience.  Also,  I married into a bowling family.  My husband, along with all of his immediate family, bowls and so now I have become a bowler too.  My average isn't that great, but I try ;)   I'm very competitive. As I was getting pretty serious into photography, I became pregnant with my fifth child.  It became a high-risk pregnancy and I was ordered to be on bed-rest for ten weeks.  Photography had to be put on hold. My baby came three months early and I was able to document his journey with my love for photography.  He's now out of the hospital and doing really well. I'm now getting back into it and LOVING it!

Short Bio

I grew up one of three girls, I was the middle.  I became very independent, strong minded, strong willed and responsible at a very young age.  I was always concerned about others and dreaded the thought of anyone being mad at me.  I honored and respected my parents.  I had dreams to be someone...someone successful.  I wasn't sure how I would acheive that.  I spent time going to college,
working, then trying to find myself while being a nanny across the country.  After returning to where I called home, two weeks later I met my sweet husband.  We were inseparable, in a whirlwhind romance, constantly joined at the hip.  Eight months later we were married. Six months after that, we were expecting our first little baby.  After becoming a mommy, it became one of the biggest parts of defining my success.  Longing for the baby pictures that were never taken of me, I started to become obsessive with recording my own babies life.  There grew my love for photograhy and one other way of defining my own success.  Along the years, more children blessed and enriched my life. And each of them helped to nourish, cultivate, and strengthen my desire to learn photography.  I was always told I had an eye when others saw my work.  It encouraged me and I eventually took the plunge and bought my first Digital SLR camera in 2008.  Many friends and family helped me practice by being my subjects.  And many other photographers inspired me all the while deepening my strong urge to pursue this passion. While at first my love for photography was self-serving, I really saw the happiness I brought to others when taking pictures for them.  They say you find pure joy in serving others, that you lose yourself in service and your problems become the least of your worries.  My way to serve others is to help them keep the memories they hold dear to their hearts.  I'm lucky to have found something that is my passion in which not only benefits me, but all those around me as well.

Short Bio

I began my work as a photographer in high school after I bought a camera and lens off of my brother. I fell in love with photography, and majored in art with a concentration in photography at the University of Virginia.

2005 found me in Nicaragua documenting Orphans for Nicaraguan Orphan Fund via Orphan Network. I was terrible, and learned quickly how to adapt to light changes, environment, and how to capture the reality of each moment and person.

In 2006, I began working for Holland Photo Arts (ahhhmazing photographers from Charlottesville, VA) - and they trained me on the craft of documenting weddings. In 2008, I began my own business, Eric Kelley Photography. Since 2006, I have had the privilege of documenting over 100 weddings in Virginia and on-location: California, New York, Brazil, Texas, Dominican Republic, Oregon and Washington.

Photography is my passion. Daily life finds me documenting people, events, homes, news for editorial work, capturing the intricacies of nature, snapping shots of my wife and son, and basically relishing the beauty of the world. I also love the post-production aspect of my job that allows me to create concepts for photography sessions or weddings for the client's taste. This is art, and I love it.

My wife, Lora Kelly, works with me to do hair and make up for the brides during the bridal shoots.
