Short Bio: Rich Legg is a commercial photographer based in Draper Utah specializing in Microstock Photography.

After beginning his photography career while in school and continuing it working as a studio portrait photographer during the 1980′s, he stepped away from serious photography for over 10 years.

It was after his successful career working for a large corporation in the 1990′s when the advances in internet technology and digital photography lured Rich back into the world of professional photography. He returned to his roots as a professional photographer in 2005, working full-time creating images for his stock portfolio with iStockphoto.

In March of 2010, Rich marked a milestone in licensing his 100,000th image on iStockphoto. He is ranked in the top 100 worldwide of the thousands of contributing photographers on the site.

Based out of his nearly 1,000 square foot studio in Draper Utah, Rich continues to expand on the thousands of images in his stock photo portfolio.

In addition to the commercial photography work, Rich is a prolific blogger, a founding member of Photowalking Utah and a member of the Professional Photographers of America.

Quotes from her website:

"I have always believed that photographers see the world through different eyes and then capture it in photos so the rest of the world can see. This is why I do what I do and this is why I love it."

"To most people I just look like a mom with a camera and when it comes right down to it, I am! My husband surprised me last September of 2008 with my first DSLR and I have rarely been seen without it since."

"My life has changed a lot since finding my passion for photography. I have met amazing people and made friendships that will last forever."

A word from another photographer. (me)

I'm proud to say that I'm one of those friendships she speaks of.
We met in October of 2008 when I had seen a couple of her pictures from a photowalking event and said to myself
this girl is one of the professional photographers that comes to photowalks as opposed to the many hobbiests.
At the next event I told her how great her pictures were and she said she had only owned a camera for a month.
She was persistent in asking questions and getting advice.
Soon after I offered to do a short photography workshop and she went to several lightroom workshops.
It would be a privelege to say I taught her... but she has gone far far beyond what I offered
and in truth she would have learned it without anyone's help, that's how dedicated she is... and good!

I remember when Suzanne and our friend Steph weren't interested in weddings at all.
I invited them to a couple of my weddings to assist and later I started to refer them.
Now to hear Suzanne say:

"There is nothing I haven't tried shooting but my favs are weddings and kids. Weddings because of the high energy and love I feel and kids because of the equally high energy and attitude I get!"

It's nice to hear you're great at what you love to do, which she is.
But I think it's even better to know you're a wonderful person, which she is.

This is a clip showing how fun Suzanne is.

Most recently Suzanne is known as the "Pretty Girl" that Scott Bourne picked to receive a prize at an event just because he could.
